A Note from Pete's Daughters......"Thank you for taking the time to check out this auction of our Dad's prized collection. After retiring from 35+ years in roofing, he spent much time and love acquiring these items and we know our Dad would want them to go to good homes with folks who will appreciate them as much as he did. Our Dad was born on the 4th of July in 1945 in Detroit MI. An avid outdoorsman, he spent many seasons hunting and fishing the Great Lakes and loved every minute of it. A Navy veteran, he served his country with pride. His love for and knowledge of the flora and fauna in the region led him to seek out regional artists to add to his collection. The only thing our Dad loved more than collecting was his family. He loved to take everyone fishing on his boat on Lake St. Clair and regale us with many stories about his experiences and memories growing up in such a great part of the country."
